Experience the annual Herb Day in Brookside - Saturday, April 12, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. More than 20,000 fresh herbs, peppers, tomatoes, potpourri, aromatherapy, oils, vinegars, and more will be awaiting you at South Peoria and East 41st Street. Support the Oklahoma Herb Growers Association at Herb Day in Brookside, where everything will be locally grown and produced.

Rumble & Roll
June 5, 2008, hundreds of bikes thunder into Brookside each June to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma during the annual Brookside Rumble & Roll. A motorcycle parade kicks off the evening's events that includes a great street party from 33rd to 36th on South Peoria.
Brookside Block Party
September 16, 2008, join us for free food, drinks and entertainment for the entire family. In the event of rain, we will try again September 18th.
Brookside Artzz

More than 30 artists and several jazz bands will line South Peoria from 33rd to 38th Streets during Brookside Artzz, Saturday, September 20th. Browse among unique local artists form 11am to 5pm offering everything from photograhy to giclee to pottery to jewelry and more while enjoying some of the best jazz this area has to offer. Art and jazz...just another reason why Brookside is the place to be!

It’s time to get out your bicycles, floats and antique cars for the 18th Annual BooHaHa Parade. The Brookside Business Association is accepting parade entries for the parade the travels up South Peoria from 49th Street to 33rd Street. Families, schools, organizations, politicians and businesses are welcome to join the fun on October 25th. There are trophies and prizes awarded in several categories...including a $250 award for the best musical entry and the best overall entry. Entries will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.
BooHaHa will once again offer a day of activities that includes the Brookside Lions Club pancake breakfast, trick-or-treating among the merchants, several children's carnivals, the Pet Costume Contest and the Children's Costume Contest. And, of course, the annual parade, which starts at 3:00 p.m.
Events for the day include:
7:00 a.m. Brookside Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast at Trinity United Methodist Church
Noon Trick or Treating begins from 33rd-51st on South Peoria
10:00 until 3:00 p.m. many churches and groups provide Kid Zones
Noon Pet Costume Contest , Food Pyramid Parking Lot
1:30 p.m. Children’s Costume Contest, Food Pyramid Parking Lot
1:30 Peoria will be closed from 49th to 1-44.
2:30 Peoria closed from 1-44 to 33rd.
